Choosing the Right Service

Every project has a few questions that determine which Westoria Rentals service fits best: what type of debris is going in the container, how long you need it, and where it will sit. Use the matrix below as a quick starting point, then click through to any service page for size charts, pricing, and project examples.

How the Rental Process Works

  1. Get a flat-rate quote. Call or request a quote online. We confirm size, debris type, delivery window, and your full out-the-door price up front β€” no hidden fees.
  2. Schedule delivery. Most orders deliver next business day, and same-day service is available when our schedule allows. We confirm your placement spot and any access concerns.
  3. Load the dumpster. Keep debris level with the top rail. Heavier materials like concrete, dirt, and shingles should stay below the fill line so the container stays within DOT weight limits.
  4. Schedule pickup. Call when you’re done β€” or keep it for the full rental period. We swap, relocate, or haul as needed.
  5. Final invoice matches your quote. The only adjustments are tons over your included weight allowance or extra rental days, and both are disclosed in advance.

Service Categories Explained

Construction Dumpster Rental

Framing, drywall, flooring, and general jobsite debris. Most projects use a 20- or 30-yard with scheduled swap-outs. Read the Construction Guide for size and weight planning.

Residential Dumpster Rental

Garage cleanouts, basement purges, and remodels. A 10- or 15-yard fits most driveways and stays under common HOA visibility thresholds. See the Residential Guide.

Roll-Off Dumpster Rental

Our core service: open-top steel containers from 10 to 40 yards, delivered by hook-lift or cable-lift trucks. Driveway-safe placement on every job.

Concrete Dumpster Rental

Heavy-debris-only 10-yard containers for concrete, brick, asphalt, and clean fill. Strict weight limits keep the truck legal on the road.

Roofing Dumpster Rental

Sized for single- and multi-layer tear-offs. Most three-tab or architectural roofs fit a 15- or 20-yard. We deliver curbside or driveway-side for easy ground loading.

Demolition Dumpster Rental

Garage tear-downs, shed removal, interior gut jobs. A 30-yard handles most full-room demos. Mixed debris is fine; concrete should go in its own 10-yard.

Yard Waste Dumpster Rental

Branches, brush, sod, and landscaping debris. We disposal-route yard waste to compost facilities where available.

Same-Day Dumpster Rental

Schedule-dependent same-day delivery for urgent projects. Call before noon and we’ll confirm availability immediately.

Long-Term Dumpster Rental

Monthly rentals for ongoing job sites, with scheduled swap-outs. We invoice per month and handle disposal between swaps.

  • Construction and remodeling debris (drywall, lumber, flooring, cabinets)
  • Roofing shingles and underlayment (10–20 yard sizes recommended)
  • Concrete, brick, asphalt, and clean fill (10-yard heavy-debris only)
  • Household furniture, appliances (non-Freon), and general cleanouts
  • Yard waste β€” branches, brush, sod, and landscaping debris

What Cannot Go In

  • Hazardous waste β€” paint, solvents, oil, fuel, asbestos
  • Tires, batteries, and refrigerants (separate disposal required)
  • Medical waste, pesticides, and pressurized containers
  • Hot ashes, contaminated soil, or wet/sealed paints
  • Electronics in jurisdictions that prohibit landfill e-waste

Service FAQs

What size dumpster do I need?

For most single-room remodels, a 15-yard is the sweet spot. Whole-home cleanouts and new construction usually need a 30-yard. Heavy debris like concrete or dirt should go in a 10-yard regardless of project size.

How much does a roll-off dumpster cost?

Flat-rate pricing typically ranges from $385 to $695 for residential sizes and $495 to $895 for larger construction containers, including delivery, a standard rental window, disposal up to the included weight allowance, and pickup. Overage tons and extra days are disclosed before you book.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

Our standard rental period is 7–10 days. Long-term monthly rentals are available for ongoing job sites. Extensions are billed per day at a flat rate quoted up front.

Do I need a permit?

If the dumpster sits entirely on your private driveway, no permit is needed. If any part sits on a public street, sidewalk, or right-of-way, a municipal permit is required. We can walk you through the process for your town.

How fast can you deliver?

Most orders deliver the next business day. Same-day service is available when our schedule allows β€” call before noon for the best chance.

What happens if I go over the weight limit?

Overage tons are billed at a flat per-ton rate that we disclose in the original quote. You never get surprised by a bill β€” we weigh the load at a certified scale and send documentation.

Dumpster Service β€” Direct Answers

What size dumpster do I need for a construction project?

Direct answer: Most construction jobs use a 20- or 30-yard. Mid-size remodels use a 20-yard; new builds and additions use a 30-yard with swap-outs.

Construction debris is generally light per cubic yard, so the container fills up before it hits its weight limit. The exception is concrete and roofing β€” both need dedicated 10- or 15-yard heavy-debris containers.

Example: A 1,800 sq ft addition through framing and drywall produces enough debris for two full 30-yard hauls. We schedule the second swap before the first is full.

What size dumpster do residential projects need?

Direct answer: Most residential jobs fit a 10- or 15-yard.

The 10-yard handles small bathroom remodels, garage purges, and concrete jobs. The 15-yard is the workhorse for whole-room remodels and large cleanouts. Both fit a standard driveway and stay under HOA visibility thresholds in most subdivisions.

Example: A two-car garage cleanout typically produces 8–10 cubic yards of debris β€” comfortably inside a 10-yard.

What size do commercial projects need?

Direct answer: Most commercial jobs use a 20-, 30-, or 40-yard.

Retail tenant build-outs and office cleanouts run on 20-yards. Warehouse purges and multi-tenant property cleanouts step up to 30- or 40-yards. We handle off-hour placements and recurring schedules through our commercial and long-term programs.

Example: A 4,000 sq ft retail tenant build-out typically needs one 30-yard at demo and one 20-yard at finish trim.
